Kindergarten Full Year Bible Curriculum
In the Kindergarten curriculum, children learn, from the Gospels, about the life of Jesus, from His birth to His resurrection. They meet Zechariah, Simeon and Anna, John the Baptist, a military captain, the first disciples, and many others. They travel with Jesus and His disciples to Cana and experience Jesus’ first miracle. They see a lame man by a pool get up and walk. From the Old Testament, children learn about the tower of Babel, Deborah, and Esther.
What faith is, what it means to believe in Jesus, and what it means to follow Jesus are topics that are interwoven throughout the quarters, at a level a five or six year old can understand.
Though each lesson is not dependent on another, each quarter’s lessons fit together, as do the four quarters of a year.
As you use the curriculum, you will find many opportunities for the children to practice the Bible Truths and memory verses, and plenty of repetition accomplished through a variety of age-appropriate activities/methods.
The Kindergarten curriculum is also suitable for five year olds and first graders.
